WEBOct 16, 2020 · macrumors 68000. I get a kick out of Verizon. I selected the $45 a month 5G UW unlimited plan. Everyone knows it’s not $45 because they add the device fee, and after taxes and other fees, my bill comes out to $83 a month. At least it ended up being $2 less than my current plan.

WEBSep 9, 2024 · Thanks. I don’t know why they make it so complicated. If I switch to the Unlimited Ultimate I believe I would lose access to my streaming services (even under a family plan). Unlimited Ultimate seems to be better for international travel though.

I can still connect my Macbook Pro to my iPhone 7 using the Personal Hotspot feature. Both WiFi and USB tethering work. But that's it.

There is a line access fee for every Verizon line. You just don't realize it because it is part of the $80 price when you have a single line plan.
