Stopped into the museum while in the area. Museum was well done with many artifact pieces dating back into 1700’s and before. A lot of history in this area which was well displayed. Go check it out.…Full review by Stlalice

Yes, I think children of those ages would get something out of it. They’d enjoy the displays of Native American items and old wagons, stagecoaches, etc. There is a fair bit of reading throughout the museum (might be dull to kids) but it’s optional of course. I wouldn’t plan to spend much more than a half hour there if I had a 7, 9 & 11 yo with me, though. But every kid is unique and some may be more interested than others. It’s not a big museum but it’s nicely done so I’d try to find things there that the kids seem drawn to and help them learn about it by summarizing the display for them. There aren’t guided tours so you’d probably need to guide kids of that age.
