In corresponding moves, LHP Brent Headrick was promoted from Triple-A and newly acquired Amed Rosario was added to the active roster.

However, the Yankees were dealt a tough blow after 2024 AL MVP Aaron Judge suffered a right flexor strain during the sixth inning of Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays. Judge made a throw home in an effort to prevent the tying run and ended up feeling pain in his elbow.
