Veteran pitcher Luis García wasted no time finding a new team after being released by the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Washington Nationals have taken a chance on the Dominican player, signing him to an MLB contract, as reported by Andrew Golden of the Washington Post. The signing will become official once García passes the mandatory physical exam.

Luis Garcia is a bit of a freak of nature. Despite being 38 years old, he still throws absolute bullets. Last night he hit 100 MPH multiple times. Outside of Aroldis Chapman, it is tough to think of many players around that age that can hit 100.
