ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a woman was shot to death on Christmas Eve. Around 6 p.m., officers responded to a person shot call at 1113 Smith Street SW. When police arrived, they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kortez Ragland, 19, was charged in connection to the September shooting that killed Toddrick Lamar, 20, and injured another after an argument led to gunfire.
