Austin Police identified a 16-year-old boy as the victim of a Monday night homicide in north Austin and said they arrested another 16-year-old boy in connection to the incident.

One person is dead in a north Austin homicide that happened Monday night, Austin Police Officer Leah Ratliff said during a media briefing. Around 8:20 p.m., multiple 911 calls were received in reference to a shoot/stab hotshot call in the 9100 block of Northgate Boulevard.
