Weeks of dedication and hard work recently paid off for Micherre Fox of Manhattan, N.Y., when she found a 2.3-carat white diamond at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park.

Talk about a diamond in the rough. It's a gem of a find for New Yorker who went in search of a diamond for her future engagement ring. West Village resident Micherre Fox, 31, went to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas for three weeks specifically to dig for diamonds.
