Drake transfer Kael Combs has committed to Iowa men’s basketball, per an announcement on his social media pages on Wednesday afternoon. The sophomore guard is the second player to follow Ben McCollum to Iowa City.

With former Drake head coach Ben McCollum's move to Iowa, Banks becomes a natural transfer portal target of the Hawkeyes. Banks notably entered the transfer portal with a do not contact tag.

The Iowa Hawkeyes welcomed in former Drake and DePaul guard Conor Enright for a visit on Monday. A product of Mundelein High School in Illinois, Enright began his career at Drake. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound point guard redshirted his first season before playing in 68 games and starting 37 over the next two seasons.
