Set against the backdrop of the Indian film industry, the series “promises an audacious, unabashed, entertaining ride through the adventures of a charming, ambitious outsider navigating the glitzy yet tricky world of Bollywood.”

Netflix is teaming with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment for an untitled series that will mark his son Aryan Khan's directorial debut. The series was unveiled at the streamer's International Showcase on Monday.

Two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan, are teaming up and getting back into business with Netflix. Netflix announced today, November 19, that the father-son duo would executive produce an untitled “Bollywood series” about an outsider breaking into the Hindi film industry.
