The Florida State University student who is accused of opening fire on campus last month was released Monday from the hospital and charged with murder.

The 20-year-old Florida State University student accused of opening fire on campus nearly a month ago is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Tuesday at 11 a.m., according to court documents.

A grand jury indicted Ikner on 2 first-degree murder charges, punishable by death in Florida. He was also indicted on 7 attempted first-degree murder charges.
