The House passed a bipartisan bill to sanction the International Criminal Court on Thursday after the body issued arrest warrants for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant in November.

US House of Representatives has approved a bill to sanction the International Criminal Court (ICC) officials in response to the arrest warrants that tribunal issued against Israeli authorities for war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

The bill which will impose the sanction is called the “Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act” and was passed by the lawmakers by an overwhelming majority
