The New York Mets celebrated Memorial Day with a walk-off, 2–1 win against the Chicago White Sox at Citi Field, courtesy of a bases-loaded sacrifice fly from Francisco Lindor. After the win, Lindor was interviewed on the field by SNY's Steve Gelbs.

Jeff McNeil was then intentionally walked and a Luis Torrens single loaded the bases for Francisco Lindor, who jumped on a first pitch sweeper and crushed it to deep right for a game-winning sacrifice fly. “I was just looking for something in the area I wanted, and it showed up,” Lindor said after picking up his third walk-off RBI of the season.
