On Sunday, supporters of Mica Miller protested outside the Myrtle Beach church of her estranged pastor husband. Crowds gathered across the street from Solid Rock Church at The Market Common as FBI agents conducted a search of the North Carolina home of Pastor John-Paul Miller on Friday.

Pastor John-Paul Miller was not home when the FBI Evidence Response Team raided his South Carolina residence.

The case of Mica Miller, the late wife of South Carolina pastor John-Paul "J.P." Miller, gained attention online following her April 2024 death. While her death was declared a suicide, Mica’s sister reportedly claimed that Mica suggested she was a victim of abusive coercive control.
