Bad Boys director Michael Bay has quit the team for Netflix’s forthcoming action film Fast and Loose over creative differences with Will Smith. The 60-year-old filmmaker made his directorial debut with the hit action-comedy Bad Boys in 1995, which starred Smith, 56, and Martin Lawrence, 60, as detectives in the Miami Police Department.

The streamer is now on the hunt for a new director.It looks like Michael Bay and Will Smith will have to wait for another opportunity for a Bad Boys reunion.Entertainment Weekly has learned that Bay exited his role as director of Netflix's upcoming action movie Fast and Loose over creative differences with Smith.

Michael Bay is no longer attached to Fast & Loose, which will see Will Smith playing a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories and eventually discovers he’s been living two lives: one as a crime kingpin and the other as an undercover CIA operative.
