“Brilliant Minds” is looking D.O.A, with NBC pulling the final six episodes of the medical drama from the schedule. The show, and indeed pretty much all NBC primetime programming, was going on hiatus for the next two weeks as the network shifts to wall-to-wall coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

According to Deadline, David Zayas will replace Timothy Busfield in the episode “Corrosive,” which was scheduled to air January 15. Zayas will play a judge. The new episode has already been shot with Zayas, who is best known for his role on “Dexter,” and will air on NBC on Feb. 26.
