Thousands of No Kings Day protests are expected across the U.S. on June 14 to protest the Trump administration's policies, including 33 in Iowa.
Indivisible, the group behind the "No Kings" protests scheduled around the country, plan to participate in the 2025 Stonewall Columbus Pride March.
The organizers of this weekend's upcoming "No Kings" protests have issued a video reminding people about the event. The video, released on the No Kings website, reminds those planning to attend of details and calls on people to join the protests.
The Chicago Teachers Union will be joining the "No Kings" march in downtown Chicago on Saturday, June 14, according to the union's website. The march is scheduled for the same day a massive military parade is set to take to the streets of Washington in an elaborate showcase of troops, tanks, weapons and aircraft.
Protests against the Trump administration are set to take place in and around New York City Saturday as part of a nationwide "No Kings" demonstration. CBS News New York's Ali Bauman reports.
