Authorities are investigating after uncovering human remains on Monday evening. Some local duck hunters who were scouting at 5:49 p.m. made the haunting discovery. North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Alexander County Sheriff's Office responded to the wooded area in Taylorsville.
