One Direction star Liam Payne’s funeral was set to take place Wednesday after he died falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires.

Mourners will gather to remember Liam Payne in England on Wednesday, according to PA Media, after the British singer died last month.

Payne, 31, died on October 16 when he fell from a balcony of the Casa Sur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires. Fresh from a devastating loss to Donald Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris may now head to Capitol Hill to defy him in what could be her last major act in office.

The funeral of former One Direction star Liam Payne, who died last month in a fall from the balcony of his Buenos Aires, is expected to take place on Wednesday, British media reported.

Payne rose to fame alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan when Simon Cowell put them together to form One Direction on ITV talent show The X Factor in 2010. During their five year career they sold 70million records with four number one albums.

A private service will be held for the star, who died last month after falling from a hotel balcony.
