Anthony Richardson downplayed the impact of the injury that knocked him out of the Indianapolis Colts first preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens:

Colts coach Shane Steichen confirmed that the injury was a dislocated pinky, according to colts.report. " It popped out, popped back in ," the coach said, who added that there is no current timetable for when Richardson will return.

On Richardson's first dropback of the Colts' second series, he never saw Baltimore Ravens linebacker David Ojabo blitzing him from his right. Ojabo blasted Richardson for the sack. Richardson got up slow, and went to the sideline with what was later announced as a dislocated pinkie finger on his throwing hand.
