Rock icons Pink Floyd have sold the rights to their music, name and likeness. The British band reportedly inked a deal with Sony, selling its catalog for $400 million. The deal only includes rights for Pink Floyd’s recorded music, not any of its songwriting because song writing credits are held by individual writers.

Reports say the deal for Pink Floyd's music catalog came together despite several years of infighting among the band’s members, especially between bassist Roger Waters and guitarist David Gilmour.
