A father accused of killing his 10-year-old daughter tried to save her and begged for an ambulance, only to be told to “leave it, she’s dead”, a court has heard. Sara Sharif’s body was found with dozens of injuries at the family’s home in Woking, Surrey, last year, the Old Bailey was told.

The footage then shows Mr Sharif standing by a police van, where he was arrested on suspicion of the murder of his daughter. The video also shows Mr Malik and Ms Batool being arrested off the plane on suspicion of the murder.
