Residents east of Atlanta received new warnings to seek shelter as winds could blow a lingering chemical cloud over their areas.

Residents near Atlanta were asked again to shelter in place if a chemical cloud moved over their neighborhood as plumes from a chemical plant fire continued to shift overnight.

Georgia's Rockdale County lifted shelter-in-place and evacuation orders after a chemical fire at the BioLab facility in Conyers.

A chemical plant fire southeast of Atlanta is still causing trouble two days later. Authorities on Tuesday alerted residents of the city's eastern suburbs to shelter in place again if a chemical cloud moves over their neighborhood.
