Siemens reported industrial profit in line with forecasts for its latest quarter on Thursday as the German engineering group navigated the fallout of rising global trade barriers.

Siemens Energy on Wednesday posted a profit of €697 million ($807 million) for its third quarter, reversing a €102 million loss a year earlier despite ongoing challenges from US tariffs and a struggling wind-power division.
