Alexander “Connor” Moucka was arrested this week by Canadian authorities for allegedly carrying out a series of hacks that targeted Snowflake’s cloud customers. His next stop may be a US jail.

The attacks affected millions of people’s data, and breached companies including the likes of AT&T, Santander, and Live Nation Entertainment (Ticketmaster). Ticketmaster alone reported the loss of 500 million people’s data, making this one of the biggest data breaches in history.

Alexander 'Connor' Moucka allegedly hacked numerous customers of cloud storage provider Snowflake, including AT&T, Neiman Marcus, and possibly Ticketmaster.

On October 30, Canadian authorities arrested Alexander Moucka, a.k.a. Connor Riley Moucka of Kitchener, Ontario, on a provisional arrest warrant from the United States. Bloomberg first reported Moucka’s alleged ties to the Snowflake hacks on Monday.

Canadian authorities have arrested a man suspected of being behind a string of hacks involving as many as 165 customers of Snowflake Inc., according to people familiar with the matter.

The hacker believed to be behind the massive AT&T data breach back in April this year has been caught and arrested.

A Canadian man who is the suspected Snowflake hacker that caused Ticketmaster huge headaches earlier this year has been arrested. The news comes just months after cybersecurity experts were hot on the trail of identifying the hacker.
