Authorities believe Vance Luther Boelter, 57, who is suspected of being involved in two “politically motivated” shootings, is still in the Midwest, stated Sen. Amy Klobuchar. She mentioned that officials have issued a notice in South Dakota and that “he may be” in Minnesota.

U.S. Sen. Tina Smith spoke with FOX 9 on Sunday morning about the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers, Rep. Melissa Hortman and Sen. John Hoffman, and their spouses, saying her name was on suspect Vance Boelter's manifesto,

Boelter – who is suspected of two politically-motivated shootings early Saturday that resulted in the deaths of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, and the wounding of Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette – is a resident of Green Isle in Sibley County.

The suspect, identified by authorities as Vance Luther Boelter, posed as a law enforcement officer to gain access to the victims' homes.
