The final 100 laps of the 256-lap event had nine cautions and the race ended with Sammy Smith knocking Taylor Gray out of the lead in Turn 3 on the final lap and triggering a multi-car crash as the field raced to the finish.

Sammy Smith was issued a 50-point penalty and fined $25,000 for his on-track actions in Saturday's Xfinity Series race at Martinsville.

With 14 cautions for all manner of bumps, dents and altercations, the pace car actually led the most laps (104) in the 256-lap show
