Air travelers should look out for updates on their flights after a temporary ground stop was issued by the Federal Aviation Administration Friday.

Federal aviation officials temporarily halted flights from Dallas and Houston arriving into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Friday morning. The Federal Aviation Administration lifted its ground stop just before noon. The FAA cited staffing issues at ABIA for the temporary pause on arrivals.

According to the FAA, staffing issues are causing the temporary ground stop, affecting flights from Bush Airport, Hobby, and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (also known as MSY)
