Andreessen Horowitz's website lists the Marine veteran Daniel Penny as a deal partner to support the venture capital firm's American Dynamism team.

Daniel Penny has reportedly landed a role in venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz a little less than two months after he was acquitted of criminally negligent homicide pertaining to the chokehold death of 30-year-old homeless man Jordan Neely in 2023.

Mr. Penny, who was acquitted after choking a mentally ill subway passenger to death, was hired to join the firm’s American Dynamism investment team.
