Here are three takeaways from the dominant win. From the start of the game, Auburn’s zone defense game Memphis problems. Memphis gave the ball away 10 times by the first media timeout and finished the night with 23 turnovers.

ATLANTA — Auburn whipped Memphis basketball wire to wire, closing out the preseason exhibition portion of both teams’ schedules with a 100-71 drubbing at State Farm Arena. The lopsided result was every bit as indicative of how the game played out.
