The Bay Area weather forecast has more rain and wind as another atmospheric river arrives and flood evacuations are issued along the Russian River.

An atmospheric river brought additional rain, strong winds, and flooding to the Bay Area Tuesday, triggering evacuation orders for the area around the Russian River in Sonoma County.

Sonoma County drenched by deluge that reached a peak Tuesday, raising the Russian River toward flood stage, closing dozens of roads, including HIghway 101 in Windsor, and causing mudslides, one of which sent a Forestville vacation home into the Russian River.
