Downtown Bedford, Inc. will host its Independence Day Fireworks Celebration along with the fifth annual cornhole tournament next Friday, July 4.

Elissa Paquette, owner of Calico and president of Downtown New Bedford Inc., said that a lot of the concerns downtown, including police presence, have been talked about for the last 25 years.
