While Daboll’s enjoyed some success in New York, it hasn’t been a smooth road since 2022. The Giants followed Daboll’s positive first season with a dismal 6-11 campaign in 2023.

Daboll, who has extensive play-calling experience, did call plays at times last season, pushing aside Kafka. But this time around, he’ll do it from Week 1 — and likely for the entire season.
