The Bills will hope a player once known for big plays can find a few more after signing with Buffalo on Wednesday.

The Buffalo Bills might have revealed their hand ahead of the team's Week 15 game against the New England Patriots as far as cornerback Christian Benford is concerned. Benford appeared on Buffalo's injury report in the middle of last week after sustaining a toe injury in practice.

The Patriots also elevated Leonard Taylor III to the active roster. The defensive tackle signed with New England’s practice squad in October. In 16 NFL games, all with the New York Jets, Taylor has 27 total tackles and 1.5 sacks.

The Bills claimed cornerback Darius Slay off waivers. Slay is a six-time Pro Bowler and won a Super Bowl last year with the Eagles.
