The New York Yankees have two new members of the Hall of Fame. One, Ichiro Suzuki, had a short stint with the team and will enter Cooperstown with another uniform. The other one, CC Sabathia, was a prominent figure in the Bronx from 2009 to 2019 and won his only World Series title in pinstripes.

CC Sabathia’s anticipated election to the Baseball Hall of Fame will hopefully encourage people to think differently regarding the achievements of starting pitchers.

With Sabathia now having a forever home in Cooperstown, Steinbrenner should make sure the Bronx also remains the ace's home for eternity.
