INDIANAPOLIS — No. 1-seed and second-ranked USC pulled away in the final minutes of an 84-79 win over the Indiana women’s basketball team in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Friday afternoon.

Part of the mission for Indiana’s women’s basketball team was to do no harm to their NCAA Tournament chances. That mission was accomplished as the Hoosiers played well and gained confidence.
