A viral social media post claimed the Kim Mulkey-coached LSU Lady Tigers as the leading candidate to secure the commitment of South Carolina transfer MiLaysia Fulwiley.

On Friday, LSU found its point guard. According to Zack Nagy, South Carolina transfer MiLaysia Fulwiley committed to the Tigers. Fulwiley played two seasons with the Gamecocks, having originally committed to the program as one of the highest-ranked recruits in the state.

Although they lost the team's leading scorer, Aneesah Morrow, to the WNBA as she was selected No. 7 overall by the Connecticut Sun, Mulkey retained star guard Flau'jae Johnson.
