The Vikings and Lions will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET on Christmas, Dec. 25. Only fans living in the local markets of the Vikings and Lions will be able to watch the Christmas game between the two teams on cable television. Here's where those fans can tune in on Dec. 25:

For the first time in more than a decade, no Minnesota Vikings players will be on the NFL's Pro Bowl roster. It's the third time total since 1951 that the Vikings have been snubbed, with the last two occurring in 2014 and 1983.

According to Kevin Seifert of ESPN, this is just the third time in the last 40 years that a team has won a game with fewer than ten passing yards. The other two teams were the 1987 St. Louis Cardinals, who finished with four net passing yards, and the 2006 Houston Texans, who somehow managed to win a game with minus-five net passing yards.

The Minnesota Vikings proved they can win ugly games, defeating the Detroit Lions on Christmas Day. Lions quarterback Jared Goff had no answer for Minnesota's defense on Thursday night. He completed 18-of-29 pass attempts for 197 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.

The Vikings have plenty of questions at other positions beyond quarterback looking ahead to 2026, when they're expected to be over the cap.
