Aaron Judge is off to an incredibly fast start for the Yankees after often starting slowly and it highlighted a good opening week for the defending AL Champions.

Thursday’s swing placed Judge behind only two names in Yankees history when it comes to reaching 500 extra-base hits in the fewest games: Joe DiMaggio (853 games) and Lou Gehrig (874 games). Judge did it in his 891st career game, passing legends, and joining them.

Although 2024 was a mostly successful year for the New York Yankees, it ended in heartbreak. The team collapsed in Game 5 of the World Series, losing a five-run lead en route to losing 7-6 to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
