An executive order by U.S. President Donald Trump to suspend refugee admissions has magnified the fears of one Afghan American soldier who has long been worried about the fate of his sister in Kabul.

Local refugee and migrant assistance groups are calling on President Trump to change his executive order that suspends the entry of refugees into the U.S. Specifically, the Vermont Afghan Alliance is calling the order ‘cruel’ and a ‘betrayal’ to Afghans who supported the U.
