The retailer says 18 stores are set to close and more could be shuttered in the coming months as it navigates the bankruptcy process.

For the second time in seven years, mall jewelry chain Claire's has filed for bankruptcy. Following a March 2018 bankruptcy filing, Claire's, based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, has continued to struggle financially.
