Texas Rangers' starting pitcher Kumar Rocker downed three bottles of pickle juice in order to battle cramps during the Rangers' 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday, per AP News' Schuyler Dixon.
Rookie right-hander Kumar Rocker pitched five scoreless innings with help from some pickle juice, Ezequiel Duran put Texas in front for good with an RBI double and the Rangers finished a sweep of the Chicago White Sox with a 2-1 victory.
Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. is out of the lineup for the club on Sunday. Robert is dealing with a thumb injury.
"I have him penciled in the lineup for Tuesday, give him the day and see where he’s at," manager Will Venable said. "We expect him to be in on Tuesday."

The White Sox manager was quickly ejected from the game after arguing strikes and balls with home plate umpire Marvin Hudson. Venable and Hudson got into a heated exchange, trading a few words before the manager was sent away.
