Colorado athletic director Rick George will step away from his role in July 2026, he announced on Thursday. George, who hired Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders, will transition into a special advisor position and assist the university chancellor and new athletic director.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has yet to play a snap in his rookie season. He saw some action in the preseason but has since been the backup to former Brown Joe Flacco and starter Dillon Gabriel.
