Protesters clashed with police downtown over the weekend, with crowds spilling onto a highway and demonstrators setting fire to driverless cars.

Demonstrators hit the streets again in L.A. after President Trump deployed the National Guard due to protests against ICE raids.

In a post to social media, Providence state Representative Enrique Sanchez said he thought there should be a demonstration “like the one in LA.”
