Just when we thought there was some positive momentum (because of no holdout) between the San Francisco 49ers and receiver Jauan Jennings regarding a new contract, the situation met an unfortunate roadblock.

Wide receiver Jauan Jennings left Sunday's practice early because of a calf issue. It's the second time this offseason he's dealt with a calf problem. Jennings also had a calf ailment in OTAs according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Eric Branch.

Amid contract talks with the San Francisco 49ers, wide receiver Jauan Jennings had a wrench thrown in his plans of proving his worth during training camp.
