The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said owners of 154,000 Jeep plug-in hybrid electric SUVs should park outside and away from buildings or other vehicles until they get recall repairs completed.

Car companies Stellantis and Chrysler have issued a recall after fires were traced back to certain Jeep hybrid plug-in models.

Jeep is recalling more than 194,000 plug-in hybrid SUVs worldwide because they can catch fire with the ignition turned off.
