Salt Lake City mayor speaks out under shooting that occurred on day of “No Kings” protest saying “this does not define our city”

The suspect in the assassination of a Democrat lawmaker in Minnesota Saturday morning had a stack of flyers reading 'No Kings' in their vehicle, Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) said on X, formerly Twitter.

The suspect who fatally shot Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, and injured Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, had a manifesto with pro-life supporters on it, including Democratic lawmakers. He also had “No Kings" papers in his fake police vehicle.
