Piastri extended his championship lead over Norris from nine points to 16 and denied his British teammate a third Grand Prix win in a row. It was the second straight day that Piastri held off Norris after taking second place ahead of his teammate in Saturday's sprint, won by Max Verstappen.
Lando Norris had won three of the past five F1 races, but Oscar Piastri took a clinical win in Belgium to restore a 16-point championship lead.
Well one thing is for sure, Max Verstappen can no longer move to Mercedes next season. The Dutchman’s fourth place at a soggy Spa on Sunday, to George Russell’s fifth, means the Red Bull driver is now 28 points clear of the Mercedes man.
