So far, 382 people have been rescued from Harsil, with hundreds more evacuated from surrounding zones. Medical teams are providing on-the-spot treatment, while the state Food and Supply Department is arranging meals for displaced residents.

At least 49 persons are still feared missing as rescue operations entered their fifth day on Saturday following flash floods and landslides in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district earlier this week, reported PTI.
