Zion Williams was expected to be an elite superstar when he was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. His athleticism was off the charts and he had dominated the high school and college levels.
"As great as he is, the word 'bust' comes to mind, not because of his talent, but only talking [about] his availability," Smith said. "If you're not available, it doesn't matter how great you are. And he's, almost, never available."
