You can customize the Windows taskbar in several different ways. You can display the bar horizontally or vertically. You can pin applications to the taskbar, select icon size and group pinned icons.
When trying to remove pinned apps from the taskbar, we tend to unpin apps manually. This will surely work but will take way too much time especially if you tend to pin a lot of apps in your taskbar.
